Marsi Gilbert, M.S. CCC-SLPMarsi Gilbert is a licensed and certified speech language pathologist. She has 11 years of experience providing diagnosis and treatment of communicative disorders in the preschool and elementary school-age population. Her areas of specialty include childhood apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency and language delays.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communicative Disorders. She was awarded a full graduate stipend from the University of Alabama where she received a Master’s of Science in Speech/Language Pathology. Marsi also completed coursework at the University of Montevallo.
Marsi has completed additional hours of training in the area of childhood apraxia of speech. She has been affiliated with Professional Speech Services of Alabama since 2000. Marsi was recently presented the ACE Award (for continuing education) by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
