About PSSA

Adults may experience speech and language difficulties for a variety of reasons. For 18 years, PSSA has been successful in understanding our client's personal journey, then helping them achieve their speech and language goals. Our approach is non-clinical and customized for the client.

Many speech therapy practices are geared toward children. In fact, our sister practice (Child'sPlay Therapy Center) is strictly pediatric. But Deborah Boswell and PSSA have a special passion for helping adults with all kinds of speech and language problems.

Deborah Boswell, M.S. CCC/SLP received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Education/Speech Pathology. She received a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Montevallo. She helps a wide range of adults with speech and communication problems--from individuals to corporations that need their executives to communicate more professionally. Deborah undergoes continuous professional development and training in the field of speech pathology and business communication skills including the Voice Methods Workshop at the College of William and Mary, Weekender at Woodbury: A Voice & Body Workshop (developed by Arthur Lessac), National Speakers Association, Executive Communication Group, and Compton's Pronouncing English as a Second Language.
